CME on Prematurity Conducted in Ludhiana by Rana Hospital

A Seminar for Continuing Medical Education (CME) was conducted at city based hotel by Rana Fertility Centre in association with SPS Hospital on the Topic of Prematurity.

Dr VijayDeep Kaur, IVF Specialist and Chief Gynaecologist of Rana Hospital gave a lecture on the topic “Risk of Prematurity in IVF Pregnancies”. She highlighted that various causes of Prematurity in IVF babies can be IVF Procedure itself, age factor, sperm factor, multiple pregnancy and underlying pathology of infertility itself. She stressed the need of careful monitoring of Pregnancy and use of antenatal steroids in case of preterm births.

The CME was presided by Dr Saroj Aggarwal, President LOGS, Dr Jagjit Kaur, an eminent gynaecologist and Dr Seema Kakkar, a pediatrician.
