IVF vs IUI (Intrauterine Insemination)
WHO, world health organisation, defined infertility as a disease where reproductive system has failed due to any issue. This infertility problem is increasing among all over world and more than 30 % women are not able to give birth to a child. If a woman is 36 years old or more than 36 years, she should have to contact female specialist and must diagnose this problem. There are many causes for infertility problem and you should know about those causes so that you can avoid them.
Causes for infertility problem are:

IVF:
IVF is the most successful process for reproduction which includes four steps. Before starting this process, every couple must check its advantages and disadvantages. Steps of IVF are:
Step 1: Ovulation induction
Step 2: Egg Retrieval
Step 3: Fertilization
Step 4: Embryo transfer and implantation

IUI:
IUI is a reproduction procedure during which concentrated and processed male sperm are inserted directly into a woman’s uterus. This procedure is done on time according to a woman’s ovulation, and may be performed one to two times in the days when ovulation detection is found. After ovulation, woman’s egg is picked up by the fallopian tube and waits there for the sperm. In the IUI procedure higher concentrated and good quality sperm place where the egg is waiting and pregnancy process will start.
The Success rate of IUI is 15-20%.
IUI can be used when the tubes are patent but IVF is the procedure of choice in case of blocked fallopian tubes. If IUI is not successful for 3 cycles, then IVF is the next procedure of Choice.
